Naomi Roberts

Principal & Owner since 2015

With 20 years teaching and 7 years studio management experience, Naomi is passionate about instilling a love of dance in each student she teaches.

From the age of 3, Naomi fell in-love with dance and trained in a professional setting at the McDonald College of Performing Arts that saw her work through a career in performing around the world.

Naomi brings her world experience to her dance classes and choreography both locally and throughout Australia. As an overseas performer, Naomi gained exposure to a variety of dance styles on stage and has never stopped slicing the moment within the industry including developing production and backstage management skills.

Throughout her career, Naomi has developed a deep love for technical dance training that not only teaches dancers safe practices but also educates students on how to correctly engage and use their muscles to achieve results. Her keen eye for detail has lead her behind the desk assessing dancers at competition leave of all streams. Naomi is dedicated to providing a positive environment that looks to embrace and enhance each dancer performing on stage, combined with practical technique encouragement that each dancer can take away to continue developing.

Naomi is known for her positive attitude, attention to detail, encouraging support and infectious personality offering kindness to all. Her love for the arts is deeply embedded in who she is and looks forward to contributing to dance education throughout.

Eve Baker

Studio location Blackheath

Eve is a passionate and dedicated dance teacher who believes in creating a supportive and encouraging environment for her students to thrive in. Drawing from her own experiences growing up with dance and ballet, Eve understands the importance of self-assurance and confidence in a disciplined setting. She empowers her students to take charge of their own growth and accomplishments, while providing them with the guidance and support they need to succeed.

With four years of teaching experience at various schools throughout Sydney and the Blue Mountains, including Dance BAN, Sydney College of Dance, Tanya Pearson Academy, Exclusive Dance, Glenbrook Ballet Theatre, and NA Dance Company, Eve has honed her teaching skills and developed a versatile teaching style that can cater to a wide range of students.

Eve has had the privilege of working with some of the best names in the dance industry through workshops and classes, including Davide Di Giovanni, Xanthe Geeves, and Gregor Thieler. These experiences have given her valuable knowledge and insights into the latest trends and practices in the dance world.

Although Eve has only been living in the Blue Mountains for the past two years, she has found it to be her true home. With her love of nature and a close-knit community, she is excited to continue exploring all the Mountains have to offer.

As a dancer, Eve has achieved many personal accomplishments. She trained full-time for three years in classical ballet and ballet-based contemporary dance at Sydney College of Dance, while studying for an Advanced Diploma of Dance. She also continued part-time training in Lyrical, Jazz, and Acro. Eve has competed in numerous solo and group competitions throughout Sydney and has completed her vocational RAD grades up to Adv 1 with distinctions. In 2019, she was offered a secondment by Sydney Dance Company’s PPY program through the Brisbane Contemporary Prix.

Amy Antaw

Amy began with Dance for Life! (now know as NA Dance Company) in 2007, studying Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Tap and Teaching Dance Classes since 2018.

Amy’s dance xxam achievements include RAD Advanced 1 Ballet, Comdance Modern Jazz Shield, Jason Winters Contemporary Level 4 and Comdance Advanced Bronze Tap.

Amy has achieved the Comdance Modern Jazz Teaching Certificate, and in 2021 is  working towards achieving the Comdance Modern Jazz Teaching Diploma, Jason Winters Contemporary Level 5, Comdance Grade 6 Tap and the RAD Advanced 2 Ballet Examination.
